Girls matter.  They are tomorrow’s women.  An empowered girl means an empowered nation which means an empowered generation.

  

Empowering girls to grow into empowered women is my life’s mission.    I’m here to team up with like-minded people and get the world to recognize that girls and women can live up to their full potential and that this potential is an enormous untapped resource!     

 As an author, speaker, activist and advocate for girls and young women, part of my purpose is to mentor, inspire, educate, and help young women to become empowered adults to improve their future, their family’s future, and the future of their communities and the world.  The other part of my purpose is to raise awareness so that every person I’m in touch with can do the same.     

 If you are a girl or woman reading this, you matter!    

And if you’re a boy or a man who is visiting my site, this site is for you too.  Your mother, sister, daughter, wife or girlfriend matters!

If you’re wondering what you can do to help, here are a few ideas: 

 1. Firstly, sit down and take the time to really think about how you can make a positive change in the world, or your country, or just perhaps in the town or community in which you live, by empowering girls and women in some way.  

   

 2. Join a cause empowering women and girls, or start your own       

3.  See the quill and ink bottle beside you?  Start writing down ideas.   And while you have the quill in your hand, feel free to comment on my  blog and share your wisdom – your words will inspire other readers, and I’d love to learn from you too!   

     

4.  Take action by doing whatever you can to empower girls and women, and raise awareness so that others can follow your example.
